I have lived in Blanes all of my life up until I began studying at the University Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona. I took the Technology baccalaureate in Blanes, which was oriented towards Physics, Maths and Technology.
When I was about fifteen years old, I found a book regarding the course “Audiovisual Systems Engineering", I enjoyed the topic greatly and thus decided that I would like to study it at university level.
When I was researching universities I chose University Pompeu Fabra because of all the research that people do there.
Finally, I decided that I wanted to do the "Bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Systems Engineering".
At the end of the course I had a conference about Simultaneous Program between Engineering at the University and I thought "Why not try it?" so I enrolled on it as well as the other "Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences".
Right now I am really interested in all the ways that technology can be connected with health and I think that it has so much potential. I would study a master about it in the future.
I am looking for new opportunities of job in Gothenburg, Sweden, since I am going to move there at 2018. I am looking for a job related to the experience that I have but I am also open to learn new things and acquire knowledge and experience.
These are some of the skills that I have acquired during my formation at university. I am open to learn anything new and I am looking forward to it.

I collaborated at GTI and PhySense making and innovative project that could use each department's strengths. For one part the use of the graphics on the web and for the other the needs at the healthcare sector that could be useful. This was my work on my Bachelors Final Project. I also worked in another department of University Pompeu Fabra. I was at Teaching Quality and Innovation Support Unit ESUP/DTIC helping at the maintance of its web and working in more projects.

My main responsibilities and tasks on this job were:
management of the servers in the enterprise environment, support for internal and remote users via remote management tools, implementation of new servers / services to improve the performance and safety of the systems, making the necessary arrangements for the purchase and control of the material necessary for the implementation of the various projects and troubleshooting and commissioning of the various enterprise services (DNS, Mail, Web, VPN).

The degree on Computer Engineering provides, on the one hand, a fundamental and strong training in computer science which enables for the exercise of the profession and, on the other hand, it has an orientation towards digital communication, which enables to take optional plans focused on audiovisual systems, communications and multimedia contents, intelligent systems and networks and telematic services.

The main objective of this bachelor's degree programme is to produce versatile, flexible, creative, competitive professionals capable of conceiving and designing audio, video and multimedia systems, working with specialists in related technologies, and making decisions on technological matters on the basis of cost, quality, safety, time and respect for the principles of their trade.
These are some of the projects that I have been doing during my degree and work experience.
The target of MENTOS UPF is to provide female students at UPF Engineering degrees contact with professionals and experts in order to support their professional development. This program is supported by the Grant Program of the Center for Learning Innovation and Knowledge (CLIK) at UPF, and the María de Maeztu Strategic Research Program DTIC-UPF
In the current context, patrimonial assets and cultural landscapes around the world are at risk. This application will protect and preserve cultural heritage, understood as a common good for all citizens. This is done through an online platform that integrates and visualizes different layers of data such as Digital Elevation model (DEM), satellite imagery, archaeology and reconstruction in 3D.
The application allows to share all this information in the same place without having to change between different websites or applications.
This project is a collaboration between two departments of Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), Complexity and Socio-Ecological Dynamics Research Group (CaSEs) and Interactive Technologies Group (GTI). CaSEs contributes by defining the needs of the area related to humanities, while GTI has the knowledge to create the technology to accomplish these needs.
This platform is interesting because there is not yet any application with the ability to integrate all these layers of information at the same place and it is a new kind of tool with all the data integrated.
The main objective of this project is to create a Web-based visualization based on the medInria software, allowing the sharing of content between remote users, permitting them to give feedback and to discuss 3D multimodal data. The developed application has been tested on a pilot case to visualize and interactively process MRI data of the heart as well as to integrate it with electro-anatomical mapping data of the same patient.
The final project was about developing a 3D video game in C++ on OpenGL starting from a very basic skeleton, using the basics of game engine development. From loading textures and 3D models, through game logic and artificial intelligence.
The subject is a good opportunity to develop a complex application, where to put into practice all the concepts of object oriented programming, design patterns, and efficient and clean programming methodologies.
I did some research about different ways to program in Maya. Some of them were MEL, Python and C++.
I have been researching about the use of Google Cardboad with Unity and I have programmed some applications.
I took a subject about Raytracing and global illumination. One of the projects was about implementing ambient occlusion in C++ and this image is one of the results.
I have programmed advanced 3D graphics in C++ thus I am able to develop graphic content and I understand the process for developing 3D applications. I also have used Unity and Virtual Reality.
I have experience as a teacher in an university subject. I have patience and I like to teach.
I have the knowledge and experience to solve and support IT problems.
I really like all the topics related about nutrition, health and equality so I have a strong motivation for this. I also can offer a different vision as a woman on the IT sector.
I can make quick prototypes with Python and I love to try to find solutions to problems and solve them.
